AWOL Vision LuxVision

A Projector That Can Shift Its Own Image

AWOL Vision's LuxVision is an ultra-short-throw projector designed to make a giant picture easier to position. Its optical lens shift moves the image vertically without using digital keystone correction, preserving detail while helping the picture meet the screen. That addresses one of the most stubborn setup problems with UST systems, where a tiny physical adjustment can throw off the whole frame.

Native 4K Runs at 120Hz

The projector displays native 4K at 120 frames per second and uses an RGB triple-laser light source rated at 6,000 ISO lumens. AWOL says it can reach picture sizes up to 200 inches and cover 110 percent of the Rec. 2020 color space. A dynamic iris and black-level processing are included for stronger contrast in dark scenes.

Built With Modern Consoles in Mind

Three HDMI 2.1 inputs support variable refresh rate, automatic low-latency mode, and Dolby Vision Gaming. Claimed input lag falls as low as 1ms at 120Hz, putting LuxVision much closer to a high-refresh television than a traditional home projector. The optical setup also avoids sacrificing resolution just to straighten the gaming image.

Six Thousand Dollars for an Easier Theater

At $5,999, LuxVision sits firmly in premium home-cinema territory. Its appeal rests on combining extreme brightness and gaming speed with setup tools that reduce the usual UST frustration. AWOL announced the projector at IFA 2026, but has not yet provided a retail date.
