The Motorola Edge 70 Plus leads with the highest-resolution main camera the company has used in a phone. Its 200-megapixel sensor includes optical stabilization, Pantone-validated color and skin tones, 10x Super Zoom, and 4K video capture. A dedicated macro camera handles close details, while the 32-megapixel front camera widens automatically for group selfies.

A Big Battery in a Curved Body

Motorola fits a 6,500mAh battery behind a quad-curved design made to sit more naturally in the hand. The company estimates up to 42 hours of calling, 34 hours of video streaming, or 23 hours of social scrolling under its test conditions. Charging reaches 45W, with a bypass mode that powers the phone during gaming while limiting heat and battery wear.

Upper-Midrange Silicon Does the Work

The Edge 70 Plus uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 rather than a flagship-tier processor. Its 6.78-inch display has a 1.5K resolution, and Gorilla Glass 7i adds extra protection against drops. Motorola also describes the phone as resistant to water, harsh temperatures, impacts, and high-altitude conditions.

Style Carries Part of the Pitch

Distinctive finishes and the softly curved front and back give the Edge 70 Plus a more expressive identity than its specification sheet alone. The phone balances that design with a genuinely large cell and an ambitious main camera, though the modest secondary camera hardware keeps expectations grounded. It debuted at IFA 2026, with pricing and regional availability still to come.
