A Full-Frame Nikon Without the Viewfinder

The Nikon Z5 IIc takes nearly all of the Z5 II's core camera hardware and removes its electronic viewfinder. That trade lowers the body price to $1,400 and cuts weight to 537 grams, while a full grip and physical controls keep the compact body from feeling stripped bare.

A Flip Screen Built for Solo Video

The fully articulating 3.2-inch touchscreen makes framing easier when the operator is also the subject. A front recording light, product-review autofocus mode, exposure waveform and focus aids support creators working without a crew. Nikon also includes image recipes, including looks developed with RED.

Oversampled 4K and Internal N-RAW

The 24-megapixel full-frame sensor records 4K at 30 fps using the full 6K width, or 4K60 with a 1.5x crop. Internal N-RAW and N-Log preserve more room for editing, while five-axis stabilization provides up to 7.5 stops of shake reduction. Subject detection covers people, animals, birds, vehicles and even fish.

Compact, Capable and Intentionally Screen-First

Photographers can shoot up to 14 fps with continuous autofocus or 30 fps in JPEG using the electronic shutter. The single UHS-II card slot and absent EVF are the clear compromises. A kit with the 24-50mm lens costs $1,700 for buyers who want a ready-to-shoot package.
