PlayStation Pulse Edge Wireless Headset

More Detail in the Pulse Edge

The PlayStation Pulse Edge is Sony's premium new wireless headset for PS5 and other supported devices. Its planar magnetic drivers use eight magnets apiece, twice the magnet volume of the standard Pulse headset, to deepen bass while keeping subtle sounds clear. The aim is precise game audio, whether that means locating footsteps or hearing a quiet detail beneath a loud scene.

Quiet the Room, Keep the Chat

Active noise cancellation reduces outside sound, and a detachable boom microphone gives voice chat a dedicated pickup. A hidden mic remains available when the boom is removed. AI-enhanced noise rejection filters background noise during conversations, while onboard game-and-chat balance controls let PS5 players adjust the mix without leaving a session.

Built for More Than One Screen

PlayStation Link supplies low-latency wireless audio across PS5, PlayStation Portal, PC, and Mac, and the headset can also connect to a supported Bluetooth device at the same time. The earcups rotate flat for travel, with a carrying case included. White and Midnight Black versions are planned for early 2027; Sony has not announced a price or preorder date yet.
