Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3)

Meta's Camera Glasses Get Slimmer

Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 refines the familiar smart-glasses idea with a thinner frame and more shape choices. Wayfarer remains, joined by the classic Aviator and a cat-eye Zena, giving the technology somewhere to live beyond one signature silhouette.

A 12-Megapixel Camera With Spatial Sound

The camera records 3K video, while an upcoming feature captures Dolby Atmos spatial audio alongside it. Dynamic Photo can take several shots in a burst and let the wearer choose the best frame, or ask Meta AI to suggest one. A dedicated button provides direct access to the assistant.

Six Microphones Fight the Background

A six-microphone array is designed to remove more than 90 percent of surrounding noise for clearer calls and voice interaction. Battery life rises to nine hours, one hour beyond the previous generation. Those improvements target the two moments when glasses have to work invisibly: hearing speech in a noisy place and lasting through most of a day.

More Frames, More Special Editions

Standard models begin at $449 across 27 lens-and-color combinations. Limited Aviator treatments and collaborations add higher-priced alternatives, but the broader story is fit and choice. Gen 3 makes the camera hardware easier to buy in a frame someone would already want to wear.
