Razer Tartarus V2 Pro

A One-Handed Control Deck for PC Games

The Tartarus V2 Pro is Razer's latest take on a keypad that puts game controls under one hand instead of spreading them across a full keyboard. Its 31 keys and buttons are programmable through Synapse, with an adjustable wrist rest to make long sessions more comfortable. The unusual layout is meant for players who want their movement keys, abilities, and shortcuts grouped where their fingers can reach them quickly.

Optical Switches With More Range

Razer has upgraded the optical switches and widened their actuation range, giving each press more room for fine control. The thumbpad now uses analog TMR technology. Snap Flex can assign two key actions to one press, while Snap Tap keeps two selected keys from activating at the same time. That second feature is particularly relevant when changing strafe direction in a shooter, where conflicting inputs can stop a character unexpectedly.

A Different Kind of Keyboard Upgrade

Every key has RGB lighting, but the functional appeal is the ability to tune inputs to a game and keep those commands in a compact space. The Tartarus V2 Pro is available now for $200. It will not replace a normal keyboard for typing; it is a dedicated control surface for someone who already knows which actions they want close to hand.
