Roland GO:KEYS 3 Minion

A Keyboard That Speaks Fluent Minion

The Roland GO:KEYS 3 Minion is a real 61-key music keyboard wrapped in bright yellow artwork and loaded with 32 playable Minions voice variations. Bob, Kevin and Stuart can be spread across the keybed, turning their familiar gibberish into melodies that are as ridiculous as the concept promises.

More Than a Branded Soundboard

Underneath the character graphics is the same beginner-friendly GO:KEYS 3 platform. Roland's ZEN-Core engine supplies more than 1,000 sounds, including acoustic pianos, synths, orchestral instruments and drums. New sounds can also be added through Roland Cloud Connect, so the instrument is not limited to novelty voices.

Yellow Shell, Blue Overalls

Minions cover the case, while blue trim around the keys nods to their denim overalls. The built-in arpeggiator, pitch control and accompaniment features can reshape those vocal samples into patterns rather than triggering one fixed catchphrase at a time. Built-in speakers and AA-battery power make the whole setup easy to carry away from a desk.

The Joke Costs an Extra $65

At $450, this edition costs about $65 more than a standard GO:KEYS 3. That premium buys the yellow finish, licensed artwork and custom voice bank, but the solid Roland keyboard underneath is what keeps the Minion from becoming a one-note toy.
