Mini LED Moves Into TCL's Art TV

The TCL A400U Designer Series pairs the room-friendly shape of an art television with a 4K QD-Mini LED panel. It is the higher-picture-quality branch of TCL's new Designer lineup, using more local dimming zones than the QLED-based A300L while keeping the same understated wall presence.

Just Over an Inch From the Wall

With the included flush mount, the A400U sits 1.1 inches away from the wall. A matte screen helps images read more like decor and reduces the glossy appearance associated with many televisions. An optional rolling mount is available for rooms where a permanent wall position is less practical.

Everything Lives Inside the Set

TCL does not use a separate external connection box for this series, so the electronics and ports remain part of the television. Google TV supplies the software layer, bringing streaming services, search, and app access to a model whose physical design is meant to fade into the room.

The Full Size Range Is Ready

The A400U launches in 55-, 65-, 75-, and 85-inch sizes, so the largest option is available from the start. Prices begin at $899 through Best Buy.
