Vox AC Mini

Vox Chime at Living-Room Volume

The Vox AC Mini is a 10-watt practice amp designed to bring the feel of the company's larger AC models into a compact box. A newly developed three-inch speaker keeps it small enough for a shelf or side table while the familiar grille makes its heritage obvious.

An Analog Path With Two Voices

Vox uses an all-analog Dynamic Response Circuit for the main signal path. A button switches between Green/Clean and Red/Drive channels, covering bright practice tones and a more pushed sound without an external pedal. Boost, gain, tone and volume controls provide the basic shaping directly on the top panel.

Reverb Is the Digital Exception

Built-in digital reverb adds space around the otherwise analog path. The tone control works as low- and high-shelf EQ, and Vox says the input is designed to handle both single-coil and humbucking pickups. A headphone jack makes late practice possible, while the auxiliary input can play backing tracks from a phone.

A $99.99 Amp Made to Stay Close

The AC Mini is meant for practice and casual playing rather than competing with a drummer. Its value is having recognizable Vox response, drive and styling ready at conversation-friendly levels without setting up a larger combo.
