Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember

Back Into Wo Long's Demon-Haunted Battles

Team Ninja is returning to Wo Long with Wings of Ember, a sequel to its melee-focused action game. The new adventure heads to the open field of Changban, where players can fight alongside Liu Bei's army against Cao Cao's pursuing forces and creatures drawn from Chinese legend. It is a setting built for the series' mix of historical warfare and supernatural danger.

An Alpha You Can Play Now

A free, time-limited alpha demo is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through September 30. It includes an in-progress character creator and online multiplayer for up to three players, giving prospective players a chance to test both solo combat and team play. Completing the demo unlocks the Fledgling Phoenix Helmet cosmetic item for the full game. Because this is an alpha, it is a look at work in progress rather than a finished slice of the release.

A Wider Launch in March

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember arrives March 4, 2027, on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. It will also be available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on day one, and preorders are open. The demo is the immediate opportunity: a chance to see how Team Ninja is building on the original's weapon clashes before committing to the sequel.
