AYANEO KONKR Pocket Block

A Game Boy Shape at a Budget Price

The AYANEO KONKR Pocket Block shrinks the classic vertical handheld layout into a 165-gram Android gaming device. Its 3.33-inch screen uses a 4:3 aspect ratio and a 960-by-720 resolution, a combination aimed squarely at older console and arcade libraries. The compact body is the main attraction, especially next to AYANEO's larger and more expensive machines.

Helio G85 Power in Two Configurations

A MediaTek Helio G85 chip runs the Pocket Block with Android 12. The base model pairs 2GB of memory with 32GB of storage, while the step-up version provides 3GB and 64GB. A 3,500mAh battery, USB-C charging, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm headphone jack round out the hardware.

Small Screen, Familiar Proportions

The 360-pixel-per-inch LCD favors sharpness over size, and its proportions suit games designed before widescreen displays became standard. AYANEO has shown PSP gameplay on the device, though the modest processor and memory make its retro focus clear. This is a pocketable companion rather than an attempt to replace a full-size gaming handheld.

Early-Bird Savings Before Shipping

The 2GB model starts at $79 during early sales before moving to an $89 retail price. The 3GB version begins at $99 and later rises to $109, with international shipping planned for the end of October.
