Gretsch's G6136TGQM-59 Limited Edition Quilt Classic Falcon reworks its extravagant 1959 icon in figured quilted maple and a warm Forge Glow finish. Aged white binding runs around the body and headstock, while gold hardware completes a guitar that looks every bit as elaborate as the name suggests.

A Hollow Body Built to Stay Composed

The 2.75-inch maple body uses 1959-style trestle bracing rather than a conventional center block. Gretsch says the structure tightens the low end, improves sustain, and reduces feedback while preserving the louder acoustic character of a hollow instrument. A maple neck with a standard U profile meets an ebony fingerboard.
