New Balance 2010 "Firecracker/Sea Salt"

A Bright Spark Under Glossy Black

The New Balance 2010 "Firecracker/Sea Salt" takes the brand's retro-styled lifestyle runner in a sharper, higher-contrast direction. Light Sea Salt mesh forms the breathable base, then glossy black overlays wrap the layered upper like polished armor.

Red Lines Trace the Whole Shoe

Firecracker Red outlines the black "N" logos and continues through the tongue, collar lining, laces and toe. The placement turns the accent color into a line that moves around the shoe instead of one isolated flash. Multiple textures help the black sections stay legible against each other, even though they share the same dark tone.

A Chunky Sole Keeps the Palette Grounded

The thick black midsole carries dark red cushioning pods near the heel, connecting the upper's bright details to the tooling below. An all-black outsole finishes the design without introducing another color. It is a busy early-2000s-inspired shape, but the tight three-color palette keeps every layer working together.

Overseas First, Then the United States

The pair is already available through select retailers outside the U.S., with a broader stateside launch planned for Fall/Winter 2026. Priced at $145 and filed under style code U20101Z0, it offers a much darker alternative to the neutral 2010 colorways built mainly around Sea Salt.
