Nike Air Griffey Max 1 "Cincinnati Reds"

Griffey's Cincinnati Chapter Returns

The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 "Cincinnati Reds" brings back a colorway originally released in 2011. Its inspiration reaches beyond Ken Griffey Jr.'s most familiar Seattle years, paying tribute to the hometown team he joined in 2000 and played for across nine seasons.

Reds Colors on a Signature Classic

A crisp white base carries the design, with Varsity Red and black supplying the team connection and stronger contrast. The color blocking keeps the bold identity of Griffey's signature line intact while making the Cincinnati reference immediately clear.

Built for Baseball Nostalgia

This is a natural meeting point for sneaker collectors and baseball fans. It revisits a less common chapter of Griffey footwear history without turning the shoe into a novelty or moving away from the substantial Air Griffey Max 1 shape.

October Release Details

The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 "Cincinnati Reds" releases October 9, 2026, through Nike and select retailers. It is priced at $180 and carries style code JA1091-100 in White, Black, and Varsity Red.
