Transformers Studio Series Transformers Movie 1 Deluxe Class Bumblebee

Bumblebee Rolls Out of Optimus Prime: Awakening

Hasbro's new Studio Series Bumblebee recreates the Autobot as he appears in the animated short Optimus Prime: Awakening. The 4.5-inch figure carries animation-specific details into the collector line while keeping the character's familiar yellow robot and car forms.

Twenty-Four Steps From Robot to Car

The Deluxe Class figure converts between modes in 24 steps, giving the transformation enough involvement for collectors without turning it into a display-only puzzle. Intricate articulation supports action poses once Bumblebee is in robot mode. An attachable fusion cannon completes the loadout and can be worked into scenes inspired by the short.

A Figure Tied to Peter Cullen's Farewell

Optimus Prime: Awakening is a 12-minute tribute to the Transformers community and to Peter Cullen, featuring his final original voice performance as Optimus Prime. Frank Welker returns as Megatron and Soundwave. That context gives this Bumblebee more emotional weight than a routine movie-one refresh, since it represents a new story built around two defining franchise voices.

Studio Series at the Deluxe Price

The figure is intended for ages eight and up and carries a suggested price of $29.99. It is scheduled for Fall 2027, with preorders through Hasbro Pulse and major retailers, making it an early physical keepsake from the animated short.
