LEGO Creator Scary Haunted Tree (40900)

A Tree With a Glowing Grin

LEGO's Scary Haunted Tree looks like the sort of Halloween decoration that might move when nobody is watching. The black tree has a face, movable arms, and a mouth that lights up when its light brick is activated. A pumpkin and a crow complete the little scene, so the finished build can sit on a shelf after the pretend scares are over.

Small Build, Plenty of Character

Set 40900 contains 218 pieces and is aimed at builders ages eight and up. Its play feature is simple but well chosen: the glowing mouth changes the expression of the whole tree, especially in a dim room. The adjustable arms give kids another way to pose it, while the pumpkin and crow make the display feel like a tiny Halloween setting rather than a standalone trunk.

A Seasonal Gift With Purchase

The Scary Haunted Tree is a gift-with-purchase set scheduled for September 21. The qualifying purchase amount has not been announced, so that threshold is the detail to watch before planning an order around it. For anyone who likes LEGO's smaller holiday builds, this one has enough motion and light to feel playful even after the building is done.
