Novation FLpad Mini

A Backpack-Sized Grid for FL Studio

FLpad Mini compresses Novation's purpose-built FL Studio control into a genuinely portable surface. It still provides 64 RGB-backlit pads in an 8-by-8 grid, making it possible to sketch patterns, launch ideas, and manage the Channel Rack without carrying the larger controller.

Small Pads, Deep Integration

The Mini gives up the larger model's bigger velocity-sensitive playing surfaces, but keeps dedicated controls for sequencer navigation, track creation, modes, and transport. Novation developed its firmware and DAW scripts with Image-Line, so the workflow reaches much deeper than a generic MIDI grid mapped by hand.

It Is Not Locked to One DAW

Novation Components handles configuration and custom layouts, letting the controller adapt to different performance habits. Outside FL Studio, it can operate as a universal MIDI controller for other music software or hardware, which gives the compact unit room to grow with a setup.

An Affordable Route Into the Workflow

At $139.99, FLpad Mini includes six months of FL Studio Producer Edition, plug-ins from UVI, GForce Software, and Klevgrand, and Melodics finger-drumming lessons. It is the more practical choice for a tight desk or mobile rig, provided expressive pad response matters less than size and price.
