The Surgeon

Michelle Yeoh Leads a New Action Thriller

The Surgeon places Michelle Yeoh at the center of a theatrical action thriller from Sony Pictures. Yeoh's physical precision and screen presence are the clearest reason to watch for it, especially in a genre that can turn a sharply defined lead performance into the whole engine of a movie.

Sony Stakes Out an Early-Spring Date

The film is scheduled to open April 2, 2027. That places it well ahead of Sony's larger late-year releases, including 24 Jump Street and Ridley Scott's Treasure Island, giving The Surgeon its own space on the studio's calendar.

The Title Is Keeping Its Secrets

Plot, supporting cast, director, and the exact nature of Yeoh's role have not been revealed. For now, The Surgeon is a lean promise: Michelle Yeoh, an action-thriller framework, and a confirmed theatrical date.
