War

Two London Firms Prepare for War

War enters London's elite legal world through a case big enough to put two rival firms on a collision course. Cathcarts & Sons faces Taylor & Byrne across the table, turning professional competition into the engine of the series. The title is blunt, and so is the setup: reputations, relationships, and careers all depend on what happens once the lawyers begin choosing sides.

A Celebrity Divorce With Wider Consequences

The first season revolves around the bitter divorce of tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson, played by Dominic West, and film star Carla Duval, played by Sienna Miller. Their split supplies the public spectacle, money, and personal damage at the center of the case. It also gives both firms reasons to push beyond ordinary legal maneuvering as private conflict becomes headline material.

Johnny Warren Steps Into the Fight

Archie Renaux plays Jonathan "Johnny" Warren, an ambitious young lawyer pulled into the dispute. Around him is an ensemble built to show the power structures on both sides. Phoebe Fox and James McArdle play the married partners running Taylor & Byrne, while Nina Sosanya and Pip Torrens lead the opposing firm. Celia Imrie, Nick Mohammed, Archie Panjabi, and Miles Jupp round out the cast.

Eight Weeks in the Legal Arena

The HBO and Sky drama begins October 1 on HBO Max. Its first season contains eight episodes, with new installments scheduled to arrive weekly on Thursdays.
